About Red Clover Children's Center

Our Mission

Red Clover Children’s Center is committed to contributing positively to the learning, growth, development, and safety of children. Through deep connections with the greater community we strive to establish a village of support and ensure access to high quality care and education to children and their families.

Our Philosophy

At the Red Clover Children's Center (RCCC) our philosophy is that play is children’s work. We are committed to the care of infants and toddlers in a safe and healthy environment that respects diverse cultures, lifestyles, preferences, abilities, learning styles, and needs of children and families in a safe and healthy environment.

At RCCC, we believe that children develop physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally through play-based learning, and our teachers will nurture and encourage the developmental growth of each child through observation and interactive teaching.

The role of our teachers is to be secure and supportive mentors who form empathetic connections with each child, and our teachers will guide children them to their potential while setting healthy limits. We provide children with classrooms that are comfortable and homelike where they are safe and free to explore.

We believe that all children are competent, capable, and creative individuals who we honor and welcome for the unique person they are. At RCCC, we strive to establish a foundation and love for learning that will serve children as they reach their full potential.

Our Goals

  • Provide the foundation of learning that focuses on each child and family's unique potential to become their best selves and identify their own versions of achievement.
  • To establish a village of families and community members to provide children and each other with support, security, and trust as we navigate raising and loving our children.
  • Support children in developing deep connection with and appreciation for nature and the natural world that evolve into respect for self, others, inner community, and the greater community.
  • To focus on children and families’ social/emotional intelligence to promote a community of regulated, compassionate, and open-minded individuals.
  • To ensure Early Childhood Educators are respected, valued, and able to thrive while enjoying their work in a healthy, supportive, balanced working environment.
  • To use sustainable practices that contribute greater good to the world and teach the importance of a light environmental footprint.
  • To provide the village of families and community members with a supportive space to be heard, educated, supported, and understood.
