Outdoor Learning

At Red Clover Children's Center, we know that outdoor learning and connections to nature are critical components to the early learning experience. Children will be given daily opportunities to explore outside. This will include engaging play on our playground and exploring our greater Middlebury community!  

Outdoor play is not a break from learning for children or educators. Instead, it is an opportunity to make deeper connections, bring learning outside, and continue the intentional teaching we offer inside. As we play outside, children will be encouraged to make connections to nature, learn how to safely and kindly interact with our planet, and feel the natural freedom that being outside brings.
